Michelle Hunt

Regional Manager, Habitat Affordable Group

As regional manager for The Habitat Company, Michelle Hunt oversees the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of Habitat-managed affordable housing communities. Michelle focuses on operational efficiency in all areas in an effort to strive for excellence in the Affordable Portfolio. Michelle leads by example and ensures that The Habitat Company is providing unparalleled customer service and support for our residents.

Michelle brings 17 years of progressive experience in various housing management portfolios to her current role, including market rate, condo associations, LIHTC and public housing property management experience. Prior to joining The Habitat Company in 2011, Michelle served in a variety of leadership roles including property manager and financial coordinator at Pathway Senior Living, LLC, an affordable senior housing company, and Prairie Management, LLC. As property manager, she routinely achieved high occupancy rates, adherence to owner’s budgetary goals and resident satisfaction.

Michelle is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and holds tax credit specialist, senior housing specialist and RIM certifications.
